     J-Point Marine, LLC was founded by Jerry La Pointe and John Bartash, two individuals who share a common interest and enthusiasm towards the sport of sailing.   Jerry has over 40 years of sailing experience, both in racing and cruising.   He also has a passion for building sailboats, taking on the assembling of his own 36' sailboat in mid 1990. With his close attention to detail, every boat he builds is of the highest quality, whether it be 14' or 36'.  

John is a young entrepreneur, fresh out of college at the company's start.   A seasoned sailor himself, he recognized the need for more options in the market of small sailboats.   He saw the opportunity to bring their flagship boat, the Pointer 14, to the market.  

This boat will turn heads as it sails gracefully and forcefully down the lake or ocean.   The Pointer 14 sells itself on its own merits and all sailors will enjoy the vast number of well-thought features.   J-Point Marine, LLC does not like to think of itself competing with other brands in the market place.   Insisted it relies on making the consumer more aware of small sailboats and lures young and old into the market.
